
Love Letters, a dance film by Chinese-born, Chicago-based artist Yuge Zhou with choreography by Hannah Santistevan and sound by Ori Zur, is projected onto the facade of the iconic Merchandise Mart nightly at 8:30 pm CT through Nov. 18 as part of the Art on theMART‘s fall program. Performed by Rebecca Huang and Joffrey Ballet dancer Xavier Nunez, Love Letters portrays a lively courtship dance between two urban dwellers making the journey towards a union amidst the labyrinth of a city. Love Letters at Art on theMART can be best viewed on the Chicago Riverwalk between Wells Street and Franklin Street, where accompanying audio can be experienced.
